Stories of Decolonization:
​Spotlight Series

This series expands upon the Stories of Decolonization Film Project, offering spotlights of individuals' personal stories. Each spotlight shared existing interview footage gathered from the original film project. Each spotlight film offers invitations to reflect deeply on colonization, decolonization, identity, and relational accountability, offering new ways for audiences to engage with the material. By making these stories freely available, the project encourages meaningful engagement, critical reflection, and action toward decolonial futures.

The filmmakers discuss topics covered in the Stories of Decolonization series including the complexities of identity, relationships, and the responsibility to challenge colonial narratives.
